Our Pico, In Loving Memory

This is my little buddy and faithful friend, Pico, who passed away on August 14, 2011 at the age of 13-1/2. He was my constant companion, and "worked" at my studio every day with me. I painted this two days after he died...it was very healing. This painting hangs prominently above our fireplace. A print of this painting is hanging in the lobby of the Ralston Veterinary Clinic in Ralston, Nebraska. We presented it to the clinic in thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care they gave to Pico throughout the last few years, with boarding and with treating his diabetes.  In our hearts always little buddy...collection of the artist/not for sale.
