This painting of my granddaughter was somewhat of an experiment for me. I loved her sweet pose as she snuggled her little stuffed kitty, and her little princess outfit...she loves to play dress up and being a princess is her favorite. I loved the softness of the light and the scene and worked to portray that softness through restrained brushwork and muted tones.
